Our Mission

Clover Avenue Elementary School strives to meet the
academic, social
and emotional
needs of each and
every student to
prepare him or her
for success in a rapidly changing world. The school, parents and community work in partnership to develop in each student academic excellence, social responsibility and personal integrity. All stakeholders are committed to the implementation

of State and District
grade level standards.

Our Vision

We will carry out our mission with
a commitment to create a community of lifelong, successful learners. Successful learners will be able to access information through the appropriate use of written, oral and technological resources. All students will demonstrate proficiency according to State and District standards. They will be prepared to apply their knowledge in order to function independently and to contribute to our global society.

Our History

Clover Avenue School opened its doors in September 1954 to 55 excited and energetic neighborhood students.  Clover currently serves almost 550 students on the very same campus, with the addition of many new facilities, including a Wonder of Reading Library, a computer lab, and several gardens, including a Literacy Garden.

In 2004, we at Clover proudly celebrated our 50th anniversary with a day-long reunion picnic and grand celebration. So far, we are enjoying our second 50 years here at Clover. We hope that, if you join our family, you’ll feel the same way.
